Love gets filthy in this new erotic romance by USA Today bestselling author, Stacey Kennedy.
Greyson Crawford works hard by day and plays even harder at night. And he understands and obeys the rules of the game. One, don’t mix business and pleasure. Two, employees are off-limits. So, he’s been eagerly counting down the days until interior designer, Evie Richards is no longer under contract with his Seattle architecture firm. But when that day comes, he realizes there are more obstacles in his way. The biggest…Evie herself.
Until Evie gets asked to be the maid-of-honor in her best friend’s destination wedding, and Evie needs a date. The circumstances are perfect for Greyson to set his plan of seduction into motion. He will happily play the boyfriend for the wedding event, if Evie will surrender to his every command and play in his bed.
For Evie, it’s all fun and games until Greyson’s first touch; then she begins to question what’s real. She knows better than to fall for a guy like Greyson—a skirt chasing ladies’ man—but with every slow caress and kinky adventure, she realizes that Greyson knows what he wants, and it isn’t just her body surrendering to him…it’s her heart.

I enjoyed the book. It was a quick read and had an interesting premise. I liked the tension that was set up between Greyson and Evie early on in the book- I didn't have to wait and get through the build up of their relationship. Greyson dives right in quickly and the set up is solid.
I struggled with Evie. She didn't make a lot of sense to me. However, I wasn't alone. Greyson doesn't understand her motivations and neither does a woman at the wedding they are going to attend. Her ex's grandmother questions her and asks everything I was wondering. Why would Evie agree to be the maid of honor for the best friend who stole her boyfriend and was now marrying him? I mean there is selfless and there is doormat. I felt she was the doormat for quite a while as I was reading. Knowing the author was aware of this made it easier to swallow.
And the best part was watching Evie grow throughout the story. Greyson had a hand in that growth and I didn't want to like him at first, but he was really a good guy. He is painted as a cad who is a "skirt chaser" and womanizer. He doesn't seem like someone who would do anything that doesn't allow him to get something out of it. As it turns out, he is doing Evie a favor, but in the end doesn't expect anything in return. That bothered me a bit. If he was such a womanizer, how is he alright with giving all of that up so suddenly? However, Greyson did get a few things out of his time with Evie, which is what makes this so good.
