SEDUCTION HAS NEVER BEEN SO SCANDALOUS . . .
Kendall Shaw loves her job as a boudoir photographer. When she enlists hot, gorgeous, 100% alpha male, Jase Burns for a custom photo shoot for a romance novel cover, she quickly discovers that he only took the job to get close to her. But her painful divorce has made her wary of men, and especially one who is eight years younger than she is.
The moment Jase sets his sights on beautiful, sexy Kendall, he wants her. Despite their mutual attraction, she's rejected his every advance. But Jase loves a good challenge, and one steamy, seductive night at The Players Club changes everything between them.
Kendall has never experienced such overwhelming passion, or been pursued so tenaciously. Jase is addicting, in every way, and she soon finds herself falling for a man who doesn't fit into her ideal future.
Can Jase convince Kendall to let go of her past and take a risk on a second chance at love—with him?
After reading and enjoying Playing with Pleasure it really was a no brainer to pick up the next in the series when it became available and I found Playing with Seduction to be just as engaging, fun, sexy and well written as it’s predecessor. The previous book was about second chances, and while this one has a similar theme it is also about timing and learning that even the most well thought out plans don’t always work out they way we want them to.
I liked Jase from the moment we meet him and as the book progressed I decided I wanted my own Jase. He’s sweet, charming, intelligent and when he decides to go all hot and sexy alpha male, look out because you won’t want to say no. His upbringing and why he chose to enter the military was quite interesting, and a little heartbreaking, but gives great insight into what motivates him, as well as why he has made, and is making, the choices he has. Kendall was one of those characters that I liked and understood why she was the way she was. She’s sweet, hardworking and loyal to those who are her friends. She’s built up her own business and is enjoying that aspect of her life, but she was hurt badly by her ex and now that she’s worked through that pain and moved on she has a “plan” as to how the rest of her life will play out.
I liked the way Kendall and Jase’s relationship progressed, and give total kudo’s to how Jase upped his game to get his woman because it was genius and smokin’ hot, and as the story moves along we get to see Kendall become more comfortable in her own skin, which Jase definitely helps with. I also liked the way that the author handled the age issue. There were a few ways that it could have been dealt with, but the path that was taken showed how mature they both were and kept things from getting overly dramatic.
The Bottom Line: If you’re looking for a fun, quick, need to take a cold shower read, this is one is for you!

Erika Wilde (aka Janelle Denison) is the USA Today bestselling author of over 50 contemporary romances for multiple print publishers.
So, why the new pen name?
As Janelle Denison I’ve always written sexy books, but lately my writing has taken on more erotic elements that I wanted to keep separate for readers because not everyone likes their reading material on the spicier, kinkier side of romance.
However, please be assured that even as Erika Wilde, you will still get an emotionally layered story with characters you’ll care about and fall in love with. That is always my goal, whether I’m writing straight contemporary romances, or more erotically charged stories.
Currently, I’m working on The Marriage Diaries and making sure that Dean and Jillian enjoy exploring the more erotic side to their marriage. The series will be on-going, with no foreseeable ending as of right now, for as long as readers want to be voyeurs to Dean and Jillian’s sizzling new relationship.I’m also planning a spin-off series in the future, featuring the hot military men that work security for Dean at Noble and Associates.
