That's all I did. A few too many glasses of wine with my best friend and the bitch convinced me to go on one of those dating websites.
A one-night stand.
A booty call.
And you know what? It.was.amazing.
I spent all night in a sexy stranger's arms, hot and sweaty, until it was time to sneak out and do the walk of shame back to my apartment.
I never thought I'd see sexy stranger again, and I was totally fine with that - until my mother's wedding.
She's getting remarried, see. And sexy stranger just happens to be my new stepbrother.
All the wine in the world isn't going to make this better.
I really enjoyed all four books. They were short reads but most definatly kept you swiping your finger across the screen to see what was going to happen next. I love books that make me loose all track of time and sink into the story. This is what happened to me, I had to open the next book to see what was going to transpire between Emma and Jai. I love that it was a quick read, but the ending I felt like could have been them telling the family and facing that obstical together. Who knows Scarlett could have another in the works to do just that.
Emma and Jai meet via a dating sight. The attraction they have for one another is steamy. This is before they find out their parents are getting married that doesn't come until the next day. Of course you could think this would turn you off step siblings dating each other but it's like Scarlett has the characters saying they liked each other before that, and there is not blood ties. So if the parents were not in the picture then what they feel for each other is the most natural thing in the world.
It's the coming to grips with that part that takes you on their journey to weed through the hang ups, and Emma finally finding herself to do what she loves more then being an what her father wanted her to be.
Jai he knows that his feelings run deep for Emma, and both of them feel the loss greatly after the blow up they have. I am happy to say there is a HEA and they do find each other again.
So if your looking for a quick read these four books are a definatly must to have on your kindle!
