TRUST – verb: to believe in the reliability, truth, or strength of another.
Up until now, Logan Mitchell has never had much of a reason to trust anyone.
Having struggled with a self-identity crisis throughout college, he’s spent the years since then creating a sophisticated facade to present to the world.
It’s an armor he thought was impenetrable—until he met Tate Morrison.
The gorgeous, headstrong bartender he’d sat across from only months ago has taken a tight hold of his heart, and Logan is discovering that it’s time to let go.
It’s time to let someone inside.
After years of placing his dreams on hold for his family, Tate has finally chosen to do what makes him happy and follow his heart.
The one thing he never would’ve imagined was that it would lead him into the arms of a man—and not just any man—the striking, never-takes-no-for-an-answer Logan Mitchell.
Tate has fallen hard, and as his world is turned on its axis and they move forward together, he finds his life becoming more entwined with the confident, successful lawyer.
Even though neither man expected the other, it’s time to trust in their relationship—but not everything comes so easily…
So, did you ever just have one of those books you waited so patiently for, or rather VERY impatiently for? Yeah, that was me with 'TRUST' and let me just say, right now... it was worth the wait. Every page, every word, was totally worth the wait. Now I just have to get used to the fact that the series is over. Three books was not enough for this series, but there is nothing lacking at all within the books. TRY, TAKE, and TRUST will pull you in from the first book and keep you in Logan and Tate's grips until the very last page of the third book. If you have not read the first two books in the series, you need to do that. Seriously, you need to read them before you pick up TRUST. Why? Well, it is a continuing story and how can you be cheering for these guys if you are not invested in their lives yet? Okay, I am getting ahead of myself, so... on to the review.
Logan and Tate. (sigh) Let me just start by saying, what you loved about the first two books just gets better! I am not just talking about the steamy parts, cause ohhhh yeah, those are amazing... and even a time or two I caught myself thinking "Wow, that is really hot!" and taking my time to think about how great the audible book is going to be. Okay, back on track. I am talking about the relationship between the two of them. The continuing love affair that they have going on that turned into something more and much deeper gets stronger with every chapter. The small conflicts between Tate and Logan will have you frustrated, cheering for them and laughing as Tate torments and teases Logan in the way that only Tate could. You have to love the fact that he gets under Logan's skin and makes the cool and collected lawyer come unhinged in so many ways.
Now, here is where I am telling you a secret, or cluing you in to something. Before you hit the middle of the book, get some tissues. Like a whole box! There are some parts that are gonna rip you apart. (I am not one to give away any spoilers) I am just giving you a warning right? Just a little friendly advice. You will thank me later. After you are done shedding some tears and get through the rest of the book.
So, about the rest of the book! The relationships with Logan's family and especially Tate's help to fill the pages with everything else that is just so wonderful about this book that by the time you reach the end, you will not be left wanting... well, maybe except for the series to continue for about... I don't know... TEN MORE BOOKS! All in all though, Ella Frank wraps the series up wonderfully. If you don't believe me, read for yourself. TRUST me, you will not be disappointed. I know that I wasn't. I loved Logan and Tate from the first page 'til the last, and when I read the series again, I doubt my opinion will change. It may even get a bit stronger. Because, what is not to love about Logan and Tate?
