Absolute power corrupts absolutely; it was a harsh lesson that my father learned too late.
Now we’re all going to burn for his mistakes.
As the prince of the Heaven’s Rejects MC, I had a life of luxury, a life I paid for with my father’s blood. Now the burden to get us out of this mess has fallen on my shoulders, it’s a job I never asked for, nor wanted, but I’ll rescue us all from the pits of the hell he cast us into.
I am the Devil’s son, but I’m not going down because of that bastard.

Heaven's Rejects are back, and this time we see their bloody beginnings.
Having read Heaven Sent, Angels and Ashes and Sins of the Fathers in published order, I'm going to recommend you mix things up and read the prequel first. Sins of the Father tells the story of how Mike (Mikey) becomes Raze. Prospect to Leader of the Heaven's Rejects overnight.
Taking his Father's place is no easy task when what is left is a mess so deep and illegal getting the Club out of it is almost impossible. The route Mike takes to do so is risky, but earns him his Club name as he razes the Club to the ground and builds it back up again setting the stage for the characters we meet in Heaven Sent and Angels and Ashes.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this short. Raze has become my favorite so far, although I look forward to the next member of Heaven's Reject to find his old lady and I'm really wanting to see how much longer it will be before Ruby hits the end of her rope and says enough is enough.
